A 286-unit class A garden style apartment project and amenity center on a fully detained 10-acre site. The project features a resort style pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, dog yards, pet washing station, attached and detached garages all located within easy access to medical jobs, retail and schools on the south side of Corpus Christi.
The project broke ground in early 2019. The amenity center and first buildings were completed in early 2020 and the project stabilized with over 90% occupancy by year-end 2020. Distribution was initiated in late 2020 with 10% of the capital being returned to investors. The project was sold in 2021.
The Corpus Christi economy is experience a significant cyclical upturn. Existing refineries, port business, the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station and Texas A&M Corpus Christi provide a strong economic foundation. Meanwhile, a new SABIC Exxon refinery will soon be under construction across the bay in Portland, Texas. The site we intend to develop is located in the rapidly growing south side, which is the preferred location for home buyers and multifamily renters alike. A significant concentration of medical offices and hospitals is located approximately 1.5 miles from the site. A new branch of Del Mar College is planned on a site about a half mile to the south. La Palmera Mall and Corpus Christi Country Club are both located approximately two miles from the site.
