Greg Usher currently serves as a Commercial Broker for Cypressbrook Company, where he is responsible for generating new commercial real estate opportunities such as tenant and land lord representation for office and industrial leasing, as well as commercial land listings and sales. With more than two decades of commercial and residential mortgage lending experience Mr. Usher developed extensive skills in the areas of new business start-up, market development and client base development. From 2000 through 2005 as a member of the start-up leadership and senior manager with a division with in Fleetwood Enterprises, Mr. Usher was charged with developing the Business Development and Marketing strategies to drive mortgage production and market visibility. As the VP and North West Region Manager, from 1997 through 2000, for Dynex Financial (parent Resource Mortgage Capital) Mr. Usher opened the region de novo in a highly competitive and irrational market and achieved success by building strategic and tactical wholesale relationships that resulted in a 6 % market share. From 1995 through 1997, as the VP and Region Atlanta Manager for a Cargill finance subsidiary, Mr. Usher restructured a non-performing operation within 9 months, successfully increasing production by 260% through focusing on customer needs, high touch service, and open and honest communication. From 1987 through 1994, as the Group Operations Manager from a division of Bank of America, Mr. Usher led a team of sales and origination experts to achieve national recognition. Throughout Mr. Usher’s career he has been recognized for his ability to execute, build lasting relationships and leveraging these relationships for the success of his clients and company. Mr. Usher attended the University of Kansas, where he majored in Business Administration and is fully licensed to practice real estate as prescribed by the Texas Real Estate Commission.
